Joshua Michaels joined Cantey Hanger in September 2017 after graduating from The University of Texas School of Law. Before law school, he served in the U.S. Army, and also taught middle school social studies as a member of Teach for America. During law school, Joshua served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Christopher Mott of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas, and as a legal intern for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. He focuses his practice within the firm’s commercial litigation section.
