Brooke received her law degree from Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth. Prior to joining Cantey Hanger, she served as an assistant criminal district attorney at the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office where she tried over 30 jury trials. Her practice is focused on complex family matters and commercial litigation.

- Extensive courtroom experience which includes 31 jury trials consisting of voir dire, opening statements, witness examination, and closing arguments. (13 first chairs/jury selections, 20 DWIs, 5 Assaults, 1 VPO, 1 Resisting, 1 Interfering, 1 Unlawful Restraint, and 2 Indecent Exposures)
- Manage a caseload of more than 1000 cases in all phases of litigation including reviewing case files, working with law enforcement, interviewing witnesses/victims, filing motions, case law research, preparation and argument of pre-trial motions, and making plea recommendations for each case.
- Engage in trial preparation by filing motions and subpoenas, interviewing and routing witnesses/victims, organizing evidence to admit during trial, and creating the best trial strategy.
- Negotiate plea bargains with defense attorneys on a daily basis.
