Tawanna Cesare, Laura Hallmon, and David Speed have been elected Equity Partners at Cantey Hanger LLP

FORT WORTH, TXTawanna Cesare, Laura Hallmon, and David Speed have been elected Equity Partners at Cantey Hanger LLP, Managing Partner Michael Appleman announced.

Cesare was a law clerk for the Firm while in law school in 2002 and an Associate Attorney with the Firm from 2003 to 2007.  She returned to the Firm as a Contract Partner in 2015.  Hallmon joined the Firm as a Contract Partner in 2015.  Speed was a law clerk at the Firm while in law school in 2007 and 2008 and joined the Firm as an Associate Attorney in 2009.

Cesare has extensive experience in family law and commercial litigation.  She is a 2003 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M) and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University.

Hallmon focuses her practice on labor and employment law.  She earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree from Baylor University and is a 1999 graduate of Baylor University School of Law. She began her practice with the Law Offices of David Fielding in March 1999, becoming a partner in January 2005. In September 2015, Hallmon and her partners in Fielding, Parker & Hallmon, LLP brought their labor and employment law practice to Cantey Hanger.

Speed represents clients in medical malpractice and construction law defense. He is a 2009 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M) and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University.
