Janet received her Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and joined Cantey Hanger’s litigation section in 2024. Previously, Janet served as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County, where she tried numerous jury trials, managed a variety of dockets including felony, juvenile and misdemeanor cases, and represented Tarrant County in government and employment law matters. Janet is a native Spanish speaker and focuses her practice on general litigation and general counsel.
