Tyler Scholes joined Cantey Hanger’s Litigation practice group in 2026, focusing on Real Estate and appellate law.   Tyler has represented clients throughout all stages of litigation in a variety of practice areas, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, employment litigation, and contract disputes. Tyler is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas, The Northern and Western Federal Districts of Texas, and the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tyler has been involved in the legal field his entire life, beginning when he attended law school classes with his father when he was a small child. Tyler has worked at every level of government, including: the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado, the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the Utah State House of Representatives, and the United States Congress, on a team representing the great state of Wyoming. Tyler is active in his church and spends his time with his wife, Chelsea, and their three brilliant children.
