Fort Worth, Texas –Associate attorney Keegan E. Sorenson and partner Machir Stull have joined Cantey Hanger LLP. Sorenson will focus primarily on professional malpractice, construction defense and commercial litigation in the firm’s Fort Worth office. Stull will focus on bankruptcy, business law and commercial litigation in the firm’s Dallas and Fort Worth offices.

Sorenson is a 2014 Texas Tech School of Law graduate and was Class President of the Student Bar Association. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, also from Texas Tech. She has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and previously worked at Hermes Sargent Bates LLP in Dallas and Blaies & Hightower LLP in Fort Worth.
Sorenson is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and is a Board Member for the Women Attorneys Section. She has done pro bono work with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas and is a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth.
Stull is a 2009 SMU Dedman School of Law graduate and was Article Editor for the International Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Spanish from the University of Virginia.
Stull’s previous work experience includes law firms Gruber Hail Johansen Shank LLP and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, as well as the George W. Bush Institute. Stull has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
