Traci Sunstrum, after a successful career working with oil & gas companies and private families, has joined Cantey Hanger as Chief Financial Officer.

“Traci brings a wealth of financial and organizational experience that will enhance our outstanding accounting team,” said Managing Partner Brian Newby.  “She will add superior support services to our clients, attorneys, and staff.”

After having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and finance from Southern Methodist University, Sunstrum worked with startup, family and corporate energy clients in accounting, controller and personal money management positions. She managed teams as small as two and as large as 12.

“I think I bring a fresh set of eyes,” Sunstrum said. “I am hoping we can be efficient and grow…that’s what we want. I am excited. It’s a new industry for me and I am learning something every day.”
