Taylor Dixon Borst received her B.S. in Kinesiology, Sport Administration in 2018 from California State University, Fresno, magna cum laude. During her time there, Taylor was a member of its Division I Equestrian Team (Go Dogs!) and was a second team All-American in Horsemanship and a multi-year first-team Academic All American. 

Taylor graduated cum laude from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 2022. While there, she served as a student attorney in the SMU Civil and Consumer Clinic, and worked as an intern with the Dallas Mavericks. 

She has been involved in the equine industry more than 15 years and has shown horses in the all-around events within the American Paint Horse Association and the Pinto Horse Association. During that time, she accumulated multiple world and reserve world championships. 

A native of Delaware, she was immersed in the Texas lifestyle easily. She enjoys riding her horse, cooking new recipes with her family, volunteering with the Avenue Church in Waxahachie, and spending time with her husband, Tim, and their two dogs, Mo and Andy.
