Transactional Partner Sara Collins Norman Joins Cantey Hanger LLP in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX. – Sara Collins Norman, whose practice focuses on corporate, real estate, and asset protection, has joined Cantey Hanger LLP as a Partner. She previously was a partner with Orgain Bell & Tucker, LLP in Beaumont.

“Sara brings a wide range of skills and a track record of being a successful problem-solver,” said Partner Doug Clayton. “We are very pleased to have Sara joining our growing transactional practice group.”

Norman spent the last 10 years focusing on the representation of small- and medium-sized, privately held businesses. She provides in-depth knowledge in estate planning, succession planning, corporate and real estate transactions, and business contracts. By integrating these various areas, she is able to provide a unique perspective to privately held business clients, including handling of the drafting and implementation of family limited partnerships for use in wealth preservation, and utilizing shareholder agreements and other buy-sell agreements.

Additionally, Norman has extensive experience representing financial institutions, landowners, developers, and property owners associations in various real estate matters, as well as commercial financing matters.

“I chose Cantey Hanger for its atmosphere, culture, and commitment to clients,” Norman said. “It is the best opportunity to represent my clients in the full-service way they want to be represented. I was very attracted to the firm’s sophistication, it being well-established in Texas — a firm that will be around another 100 years – and I am thrilled for a chance to contribute to its already impressive legacy.”

She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014 after having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Lubbock Christian University. She is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023 and 2024, and in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch, 2021-24, for Real Estate Law and Trusts & Estates.
