Greg Wilhelm, former Ellis County Treasurer and highly respected former Texas Trial Court Judge, is the Partner-in-Charge of Cantey Hanger’s three-attorney firm serving Ellis County, from Midlothian offices.

Greg has a long history of community involvement. He helped launch Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ellis County, of which he served as its Founding President. He was appointed by then-Governor Rick Perry as a Member of the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board and Chair of the Parental Rights Advisory Panel, and also had a nine-year term of service on the Statewide Board of Texas CASA, later serving as its Board President. Additionally, he served as a Vice-President of the Dallas Chapter of the Christian Legal Society.

He received his law degree from the Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Va. While at Regent, Patrick received the Counselor at Law Award for his work with clients in the Civil Litigation Clinic.
